I understand the dark part but I'm going to frame it from the fact that he was a badass motherfucker who had impeccable comedic timing. I like to weigh a life from what the folks did in the middle, and he fucking rocked it. We mostly all have a sad ending. Fuck that shit. I'm going to remember him as a badass comedian.
Do what you will with your memory of him - but the fact remains that at the height of his fame (that middle part where he was killing the game) he was in the most pain. I think it’s good to remember all aspects of a life so the life wasn’t lived in vain.
